Electro-Cord Kft. has been on the construction market in Hungary for 18 years and Customers have always been in the focus of our activities: our whole business process is determined by our endeavour to gain better knowledge of the needs of our Customers and to meet them at the highest possible level.

The Swiss mother company has a business history of over 40 years. Throughout these years they have developed from the status of a small enterprise (SME) into a key player on the Swiss cable and appliance market with extensive international ties.

During the past few years Electro-Cord have invested considerably in the establishment of facilities that ensure the maintenance of mutually beneficial partner relationships.
In the core of these investments are the new Company Site, Kábel-és Építőanyag Kereskedelmi Centrum (Cable and Building Materials Trade Centre) and TechnoPark in Újbuda that provide the necessary background for our logistics and commercial activities.

Moving to the new site made introducing a new Company Image an urging necessity, which was received with interest and appreciation on the market both in Hungary and abroad.
Noticing the growing market for halogen free and fire-resistant cables we are offering our new branded product - SWISSCORD 0,6/1kV cable at a competitive price in good quality.
First and so far unique is our company's grading system of fire resistant cables in Hungary, thus enabling our Customers to install fire-resistant cables in compliance with applicable standards.
Introduction of the Integrated SAP management system provides transparency in the review of calls for quotes, ordering and invoicing, which assures smooth operation between the affiliated companies.

Electro-Cord is dedicated to support the technical profession and has been in the heart of several initiatives.
Two years ago, we supported the publication of Kábelkönyv (Cable Reference Book), a comprehensive technical manual, which was compiled by significant exponents of the profession.
The manual is supplemented with the indispensable Cable Catalogue issued by our company in the autumn of 2008, which helps the everyday work of designers, builders and students with regular updates.
